Climate Cell
The Climate Cell is a dedicated institutional mechanism established to address climate change concerns through awareness, education, and action. It functions as a platform to integrate climate responsibility into academic, administrative, and community practices by promoting sustainable development and environmentally responsible behaviour. The Cell encourages informed dialogue on climate-related issues, supports initiatives that reduce environmental impact, and fosters participation in climate action programs at local, national, and global levels. Through collaborative efforts, the Climate Cell aims to foster a culture of sustainability, enhance climate resilience, and make meaningful contributions to long-term environmental protection.
Objectives of the Climate Cell:
- To conduct the Green audit, Environment and Energy Audit of the University campus.
- To create awareness about climate change and its environmental, social, and economic impacts.
- To promote sustainable and eco-friendly practices within the institution.
