Training and Placement Cells >> Placement Process

The placement process at our university serves as a vital link between academic learning and professional employment, helping students transition smoothly into the corporate world. The Training and Placement Cell (T&P Cell) plays a central role by establishing strong industry connections and inviting reputed national and multinational companies for campus recruitment.

The process begins with an orientation session where students are briefed about the placement schedule, participating companies, job profiles, required skill sets, and interview procedures. To ensure that students are fully prepared, the university organizes comprehensive pre-placement training that includes:

  • Resume and cover letter preparation
  • Aptitude and logical reasoning practice
  • Group discussion training
  • Mock technical and HR interviews

These training activities enhance students’ confidence and help them align their abilities with industry expectations.

During campus recruitment, companies typically conduct multiple evaluation rounds such as written/online tests, technical interviews, and HR interviews. These rounds are designed to assess students’ technical knowledge, analytical ability, communication skills, and overall personality.

Candidates who successfully clear all stages receive offer letters detailing job roles, compensation packages, and joining formalities. The T&P Cell further assists selected students with documentation and provides guidance for their smooth transition from campus life to the professional environment.

A well-structured and industry-oriented placement process not only supports students in securing meaningful employment but also strengthens the university’s reputation by showcasing the competence, skills, and professionalism of its graduates.

In addition to facilitating placements, the Training and Placement Cell continuously monitors and evaluates placement outcomes to enhance the effectiveness of future recruitment cycles. Feedback from recruiters and placed students is systematically analyzed to identify skill gaps and emerging industry requirements. Based on these insights, the Cell updates its training strategies and collaborates with academic departments to strengthen curriculum relevance. This continuous improvement approach ensures sustained employability, long-term career growth for students, and the development of strong, enduring relationships with industry partners.
