ICT Academy – Honeywell Cyber Security Training Program
The Training and Placement Cell of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, in collaboration with ICT Academy, successfully concluded a 100-hour hands-on, activity-based Cyber Security Training Program for 60 final-year Computer Science students, conducted from 22nd January to 11th February 2025.
The training program was designed to equip students with practical knowledge and industry-relevant skills in the rapidly growing domain of cybersecurity. Key areas covered during the program included Networking Basics, Endpoint Security, Network Defense, and Cyber Threat Management. Through interactive sessions, real-time demonstrations, and practical exercises, students gained a strong foundation in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating cyber threats.
This initiative reflects the University’s commitment to providing experiential learning opportunities and preparing students to meet current and future industry challenges. The Training and Placement Cell extends its sincere appreciation to ICT Academy for their continued support and collaboration in enhancing students’ technical competencies and career readiness.
Employability Skills Training Program by Mahindra Pride Classroom
The Training and Placement Cell at Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib, successfully organized a six-day Employability Skills Training Program in collaboration with Mahindra Pride Classroom for final-year students from the Departments of Mathematics, Physics, and Political Science.
Mahindra Pride Classroom, an initiative under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program of the Mahindra Group, delivered comprehensive skill-development training aimed at enhancing employability, particularly for socially and economically disadvantaged youth. The program focused on developing essential competencies through structured modules on Life Skills, Soft Skills, Communication Skills, Presentation Skills, and Interview Skills, enabling students to enhance both their professional readiness and personal growth.
Dr. Kamaljit Kaur, Incharge of Training and Placement, expressed sincere appreciation to Mahindra Pride Classroom for their valuable collaboration and encouraged students to actively engage in the sessions to maximize learning outcomes.

Summer Training Program on Data Science and AIoT by Sabudh Foundation Mohali
Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University is pleased to announce the commencement of its 6-week Summer Training Program designed to equip students with industry-relevant skills in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence for the Internet of Things (AIoT). This intensive program aims to prepare students to meet the demands of the rapidly evolving technology landscape through a blend of theoretical learning and hands-on practical exposure.
The program offers comprehensive training in key domains, including Data Science, where students learn data acquisition, analysis, visualization, and interpretation to derive meaningful insights. Emphasis is also placed on effective communication skills, enabling students to present complex technical findings with clarity and confidence.
In addition, participants receive foundational training in Electronics and Embedded Systems, covering circuit design and core concepts essential for IoT applications. The program further focuses on real-world problem-solving, allowing students to apply their knowledge through practical activities, project-based learning, and industry-oriented use cases in AIoT.
